Ik heb eergisteren de CD van Wende (Snijders) binnengekregen: Quand tu dors. Allemaal franse chansons - eigen composities en klassiekers - die met grote bevlogenheid en passie worden gezongen. Luister zelf even naar dit MP3-tje, dan weet je wat ik bedoel. Wende heeft al een goede reputatie opgebouwd in korte tijd met fans als Paul de Leeuw, Barend & Van Dorp en een CD-presentatie in Panama heeft zij niet de minsten onder haar publiek. In september start zij haar theatertournee waarover meer op haar website. Een aanrader, deze CD waarbij zowel bekende nummers als onbekende composities op een fantastische manier worden gezongen met uitstekende begeleiding.
